Ambler ID theft … A resident reported May 4 being the victim of attempted credit card fraud, police said. He was contacted by a company in San Antonio, Texas, asking if he had authorized a $6,000 purchase on his Discover card, police said. A man who said he was from Bellevue, Wash., attempted to make the purchase, which was denied, police said.
