SB 1070 passed today in Georgia, taking lead from fellow states Alabama and Arizona) The bill will : Force companies to use E-Verify to confirm the identity and immigration status of workers, would make it a crime to use a fake id to get a job (which is fraud already), prohibit people giving rides in a car, or housing illegal aliens, and allowing police officers to use Immigration records to confirm identification of people. Also note* The Schooling section, is simply a count or verification, the bill does not actually prohibit people from attending the school. What is your stand point on this issue? Why?
